A white Mercedes has been covered in angry graffiti such as ‘worst boss ever’ and ‘Up yours, I quit’.

The expensive car was seen parked near Leeds Train Station this morning, where commuters were surprised to see it defaced in large black letters.

It appears to have been done by an employee with a grudge, however it’s hard to tell for sure as whoever did it didn’t reveal their identity.

Some suspected it was a publicity stunt to raise the car maker’s profile.

However, a spokesman for Mercedes told Metro.co.uk they had seen the photos, but ‘it’s nothing to do with us’.

So maybe someone really has just burnt their bridges by risking criminal damage charges, which has a certain style to it we have to say.

Michelle Bunyan, who walked past the car on her way to walk, said: ‘I think that’s either one sour employee and will look good on their CV and a smart move towards unemployment for life or a good advert similar to what Range Rover did a few months back.

‘It definitely gave me and my colleagues a good giggle this morning.’

Another commuter, who asked not to be named, said: ‘I think this is a stunt as my friend also saw this car in Albion Street this morning.’

Painting cars like this is becoming weirdly common, with one £100,000 Range Rover left on a drive way in Richmond spray painted with ‘CHEAT’ and ‘ROT IN HELL’.

Yet another Range Rover was left outside a dealership in Mayfair, with windows covered with paper signs saying: ‘BE CAREFUL DON’T BUY FROM RANGE ROVER. I GOT RIPPED OFF. THEY SOLD ME THIS JUNK.’

Another sign states: ‘CAR NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. RANGE ROVER DON’T CARE’.

Yet ANOTHER Range Rover – the one that started it all – was defaced with ‘cheater’, ‘liar’ and I ‘hope she was worth it’.

However, the company admitted this one at least was all a stunt in the end.
