Animal Rescue Live: Supervet Special goes exotic for Wednesday night’s episode as they look into the rise in ownership of pets that aren’t your average cat, dog or hamster.
Professor Noel Fitzpatrick gets to grips with Thor, a giant boa constrictor.
He seems pretty happy in the below picture, but we have to admit we probably wouldn’t be as chilled as he looks if we ever met Thor.

The episode is going to explore how exotic pets can be brilliant companions, and educate people on the special and specific care they need when it comes to their habitat. We’re sure Thor here is used to much warmer climes than those of the UK.
The week-long series will also try to find forever homes for all sorts of creatures great and small.
Anyone wanting to adopt a pet they see on the show should contact the Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter for more info.
