After four series of flirting and falling out, there’s never been a shortage of chemistry between the couples of Love Island.
But lust doesn’t always turn to love, as the class of 2018 know all too well.
But fear not because love isn’t dead.
A handful of love birds have been left standing, with many taking the next step and bringing weddings and babies into the picture.
Here’s a look back at who made it and how they did it…
Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewett
But all that changed the minute hunky former Calvin Klein model Jamie Jewitt entered the villa with the sole intention of wooing the posh humanitarian – who once got off with Prince Harry .
And unlike their co-stars, whose relationships have crashed and burned, the couple are still going strong, making them one of the class of 2017’s biggest success stories.
So what is it about their dynamic that has helped them go the distance?
From the moment they met the photographic pair were matched both in body and mind.
They bonded over books and Camilla’s work clearing landmines in Afghanistan, and Jamie made her the cutest avocado birthday toast you’ve ever seen.
Rather than chase fame like some of their co-stars, they’ve kept things low key, visiting refugee camps and taking part in charity walks for landmine clearing charity The HALO Trust.
“It is incredible to have met someone like Cam who has the same interests as me, which is why we still getting on so well now,” Jamie gushed.
“She has done some amazing things in her life and I am so lucky she is nice enough to let me come along with her.”
But in August Jamie sent engagement rumours flying when he told Camilla he had a ‘question to ask her’ in a video posted to Instagram .
Then instead of proposing, he pranked her by pushing her into a lake, sparking frustration amongst fans who begged them to tie the knot already.
“You are so lovely together please propose Jamie ,” wrote one, while another gushed, “You two amaze me. Thank you for being the real deal.”
Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey
They won Love Island 2016 but sadly announced their split a year later.
“Me and Cara have split, we’ve had the summer of our lives together, but sadly come to a end , I wish her the best for the future,” he told fans.
And Cara admitted that “sometimes love just isn’t enough,” as she thanked everyone for their support.
Just weeks later they revealed Cara was pregnant. And despite initially insisting they wouldn’t get back together, they reunited just before Freddie-George was born in December 2017.
And last year he whisked her away on a surprise holiday – and popped the question in the middle of the Love Island villa.
She’s now in the process of planning a wild hen do in Magaluf.
Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen
There was no expense – or extravagance – spared when ex Love Islanders Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen tied the knot at a lavish Essex manor house on September 15.
From Alex arriving by helicopter to Olivia being driven from the front of the building to the back by Rolls Royce, nothing was too much for the love birds’ bash at Gosford Hall.
A host of celebrities made the guest list, with Love Islanders Gabby Allen , Eyal Booker, Georgia Harrison , Jon Clark and Kady McDermott all scoring an invite, along with TOWIE’s Lauren Pope and Pete Wicks and Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Dawn Ward .
Fellow Islander Tina Stinnes served as bridesmaid, while co-star Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey gave it a wide berth after Olivia dumped Cara from bridesmaid duty.
Explaining why she took such drastic action, Olivia said they’d ‘drifted apart’ since she first got engaged.
“She missed a few things and I didn’t see her for weeks and months on end to the point where it was logistically impossible to get her dress fitted… it sometimes becomes hard in this industry to differentiate real friends from ‘showbiz’ friends, or at least what side of the coin it is that they see you as,” she said.
Jess Shears and Dom Lever
They were the first couple to be separated in the villa when one half was booted out, but the love is still very much alive for Jess Shears and Dom Lever who are married with a baby on the way.
Yesterday the couple shared a picture of their sonogram along with a snap of Jess’ baby bump.
“The best is yet to come,” gushed Jess, 25.
Their first ‘wedding’ was very much a public affair, with Dom Lever and Jess Shears ‘tying the knot’ in their swimwear on Good Morning Britain.
But for the real deal they kept things much more low key, getting hitched in front of just 22 guests – four of whom were bridemaids.
The Love Island stars, who wanted a ‘group holiday’ vibe, jetted off to Mykonos where they stayed at Leonardo DiCaprio’s favoured digs, Villa Alegria.
Jess, 25, wore a stunning embroidered ivory gown, and Dom, 28, admitted he cried like a baby when she walked down the aisle to Ed Sheeran’s Perfect.
“I didn’t think I would cry but I was blubbering all day. It all started when I saw my little sister walking down the aisle. Then I saw Jess and I went to pieces,” he told OK! magazine.
