At the Grammys on Sunday, Lady Gaga performed a hard rock version of her and Bradley Cooper’s hit song “Shallow” from the Oscar-nominated film A Star Is Born.

Cooper had attended the BAFTAs in London earlier Sunday, leaving Gaga to sing the song by herself.
It was a wild ride from start to finish — but especially at the end.

As the proverbial shallow receded into the distance and the song drew to a close, Gaga picked up the mic stand, bent over, and then stared — with one eye visible — into the camera for what seemed like an eternity. Here’s what it looked like in the room:
