Noel Gallagher announces new single featuring Johnny Marr ‘If Love Is The Law’

A special vinyl release is also planned

Noel Gallagher has announced plans to release a new single featuring Johnny Marr.

The track ‘If Law Is The Law’ is taken from his recent solo album ‘Who Built The Moon?’ and is set for a digital release on August 17 followed by a vinyl release on September 14.

The vinyl release will feature the album version of the single and an instrumental rendition, plus rare track ‘Alone On The Rope’ on the B side. You can view the vinyl release below.

Gallagher is also set to perform at a series of festival dates over the summer. Check for tickets here.

He will play:

19 July Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh
21 July Tramlines Festival, Sheffield
30 Aug-1 Sept Electric Fields Festival, Dumfries & Galloway
1 Sept The Downs, Bristol
2 Sept Bingley Music Live, Yorkshire

Meanwhile, England fans recently in Russia recently sang Oasis‘ ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ after watching the team get knocked out of the World Cup.

That came after Noel was booed at a recent gig for saying football wasn’t coming home.

Brother Liam hit back a day later on Twitter. He wrote: “Very sad when you can’t support your country coz your Mrs won’t let ya. hashtag soft lad hashtag under the thumb ITS COMING HOME as you were LG x.”
