A mother-of-three from Nevada who had gone missing in late June was discovered nearly two weeks later dead from a gunshot wound alongside a man in what police are calling a murder-suicide.
The adult son of the victim, identified by officials as 42-year-old Juliane Kellner, says his mother met her suspected killer, 39-year-old Victor Crisan, on the dating app Plenty of Fish about a month ago.
Kellner, a mother to 15-year-old twin daughters and a 21-year-old son, was a recovering drug addict who moved from Florida to Nevada in 2017 to turn her life around after completing a 12-month rehabilitation program.

Kellner, 42, was a mother to 15-year-old twin daughters and a 21-year-old son, Brandon Wilt (pictured far left)
According to her son, Brandon Wilt, his mother was on the right track: she found a good job, got a car and became involved with a local church.
In a YouTube video uploaded last year, Kellner shared her story of being a survivor of child sex trafficking with a group of women.
‘When she got connected with God, she changed a lot of people’s lives,’ her son told KVVU. ‘She was very, very outgoing. She loved to be around people, she could talk to anybody.’
Then on June 28, Kellner failed to show up for work, which was unlike her, and was reported missing.
Kellner was last seen alive at the Palm Villas apartments on Whitney Ranch Drive in Henderson.
Her friends went out looking for clues a few days later and found her cellphone and car parked outside Victor Crisan’s home.

Wilt, who lives in Florida with his wife and daughters, says he called police in Henderson every day for more than a week, begging them to take action and perform a welfare check at the residence.
Finally on the morning of July 10, officers entered the house in the 600 block of Whitney Ranch Drive and found his mother’s decomposing body with a gunshot wound to her chest. Her death was ruled a homicide.
Her boyfriend, Crisan, was also found deceased inside the residence from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
There is no word at this time on a possible motive behind the murder-suicide.
Killner’s son and other family members are now seeking answers from police concerning the pace of their investigation.
Kellner’s family say the woman met 39-year-old Victor Crisan on the dating app Plenty of fish about a month ago. She was a recovering drug addict
‘There’s no reason she should’ve sat in that apartment for that many days when there was so many people that cared for her and was pushing for them to go in that apartment,’ Wilt told Fox 4 Now.
The woman’s son said he was told be the coroner that he could not see his mother’s body to say goodbye because of its advanced state of decomposition.
Wilt has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help the family with his mother’s funeral expenses.
