Emiliano Sala’s body ID’d by fingerprints as inquest opens into striker’s plane crash death

EMILIANO Sala’s body was identified by his fingerprints after he died from head injuries in a plane crash, an inquest heard today.

The £15million Cardiff City footballer was pulled from the wreckage after the plane came down near Alderney on January 21.

An inquest opened and adjourned into his death today in Dorset heard how Sala died from “head and trunk injuries”.
