It’s set to be largely dry and bright with just a few showers on Monday.
It will feel breezier on Tuesday, with heavy rain expected on Wednesday.
Blustery, wintry showers will continue in northeastern areas of the UK on Thursday.
It’s expected to be mostly settled weather before outbreaks of rain move eastwards on Friday.
Winds will be strong with a risk of gales in the Northeast.
Later on in the week, it looks set to remain cold, unsettled and possibly windy.
Milder spells over the next week with be brief and there’s likely to be spells of rain. The rain could also turn to snow.
There will be drier, brighter spells in the East and frost could be widespread.
During the last week of January, we are likely to see colder weather across the UK.
This could bring a greater risk of snow, ice and widespread frost.
However, it remains uncertain how long the cold snap will lost and it is still possibly we will see milder and wetter spells in the South.
