TURKISH Airline’s inflight safety video featuring the stars of The LEGO Movie 2 has been named February’s best PR campaign.
The video topped a poll by industry magazine PR Week UK, taking 78.12% of the votes.
It won despite strong competition from campaigns including McDonald’s Big Mac Bacon ad, Pizza Express’s Valentine’s Wedding stunt, a ‘reversible poem’ by domestic abuse charity, Refuge, and London Zoo’s X-Ray Animals campaign.
The video is the second collaboration between Turkish Airlines and the successful animated franchise, with the first campaign in August 2018 garnering 20 million views in one month.
