Chris Pratt tries to bring a velociraptor on flight in new hilarious clip

As the debate over service animals on flights rages on, it seems Chris Pratt is trying to get away with something even trickier than a peacock or miniature horse.

Pratt was joined by his Jurassic Park co-star Bryce Dallas Howard for a hilarious new CollegeHumor video that tackles the debate – with a dinosaur.

In the clip, Pratt and Howard take on the roles of their characters Owen Grady and Claire Dearing as they try to bring a velociraptor named Blue on a flight.

Pratt puts a huge, shaking cage onto the scale in the beginning of the video, much to the horror of the airline attendant.

‘I cannot allow that animal to board the plane!’ he firmly tells the couple.

‘Oh no, no it’s okay, she’s a service animal,’ Howard says, trying to soothe him.

‘She’s a dinosaur!’ the attendant replies

‘I mean, he needs her for emotional support,’ Howard continues, giving Pratt a comforting pat on the back.

‘No,’ the attendant says again as the velociraptor continues to thump around in its cage.

‘Yes, please,’ Pratt begs. ‘We’re not just one of those bogus a-hole couples. I get anxiety and I need her to calm me down.’

‘Oh word? ‘Cause I’m getting anxiety just standing here,’ the attendant shoots back.

The velociraptor starts to menacingly screech and Pratt tries to soothe her.

‘I was with her at birth,’ he continues. ‘And I’ve been separated from her one time. And I will not let that happen again!’

‘He wouldn’t even have the courage to talk to you right now if she weren’t here,’ Howard tells the attendant.

‘He’s the most cowardly man you’ve ever seen. It’s so unattractive.’

‘Okay, that’s not really helping,’ Pratt tells Howard before he pleads with the attendant again.

'It could kill everyone on board!' the attendant screams as the velociraptor screeches

‘Listen, I didn’t wanna do this but I read the bylaws and there’s no specific rules stating that I can’t have a dinosaur on your plane so load her up.’

‘It could kill everyone on board!’ the attendant screams as the velociraptor continues to screech.

‘Name one person who was killed by a dinosaur,’ Howard replies.

‘What about at that park they keep having to close down?’ he asks, seemingly referring to Jurassic Park.

‘What park?’ Howard asks, playing dumb, as Pratt proclaims ‘We don’t know what you’re talking about’.

‘Look, I wanna help you, but I have to at least know that you have some control over your animal,’ the attendant tells the couple.

So Pratt gets out a huge piece of raw steak and confidently tells him, ‘You wanna see control? I’ll show you control’.

But the velociraptor manages to escape and suddenly Pratt has a gun in his hand, saying in his leading man voice: 'Here we go'

Howard then tells the velociraptor: ‘Blue, go full beast mood!’

‘You’re just saying things she’s already doing!’ the attendant claims.

To try and prove him wrong, Howard then tells Blue to ‘stay’.

The video is a promotion for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the second installment in the revamped series that will be out on June 22.

Pratt’s new film follows him and Howard as they return to the Jurassic World theme park to try and rescue the remaining dinosaurs from an impending volcano.

But the CollegeHumor clip also touches on a recent issue of service animals on airline flights.

Just this week, American Airlines banned insects, goats, hedgehogs, ferrets, spiders, chickens, and hawks from being taken on flights as service animals.
