A woman has claimed she fought off a home invasion by grabbing an AK-47 out of a man’s hands.
Cops in Altamonte Springs, Florida said Angel Delgado Santiago, 30, and Jorge Montanez, 17, stormed the apartment early on Saturday before fleeing the scene.
They said the woman – who has asked to be called by her nickname, ‘Trigger’ – claimed to have disarmed one of the men after he pointed a rifle at her and her 13-year-old son’s face.

She told WFTV she ‘went blank’ during the ordeal, but still found the strength to snatch the weapon and remove its magazine.
‘I had no feeling,’ Trigger said. ‘I wasn’t scared. I wasn’t brave. I was just – it’s go time. Do or die.’
Trigger said her ex-wife was also in the room and she felt a need to protect her as well as her son.
After the confrontation, the man and boy fled in a car, cops said, with the duo reportedly reaching speeds of 70mph.
They were pursued by cops and later arrested, with a handgun and rifle being found in the back.
Trigger, so called because of her gun collection, said she left her own firearm in her car.
‘When I seen the barrel of the gun, I swear it felt like a movie,’ she said of her terrifying encounter.
She explained the man holding the rifle ‘started getting nervous’ so she ‘just disarmed it’.

There was a struggle over the gun, she added, before the duo fled.
They also fired shots at her ex-wife, she said, but none of the bullets landed.
‘They just didn’t know I was going to fight back,’ she said. ‘That’s what they didn’t know.’
Santiago and Montanez have been charged with home invasion and attempted murder.
